An original Charles Cobelle The Dancers signed artist’s proof lithograph. Color lithograph features a wild array dancers, musicians, animals and architecture in vibrant colors. Print features artist signature and artist proof designation (A/P) in pencil at lower right. Lithograph comes with certificate of authenticity. Charles Cobelle (1902-1994) was a french master painter, lithographer and muralist. Cobelle was educated at the University of Munich, and continued his studies at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris. He also directly studied under both Marc Chagall and Raoul Dufy. Cobelle immigrated to America in the 1920s, where he continued to work until his death at age 92 in New York in 1994.
