A large vintage 1963 Edscorp (Edmund Scientific) 6’ Space Conqueror reflecting telescope on a German equatorial mount. All original equipment. These were the famous Edscorp Space Conqueror telescopes of the 1960s. This is an earlier version that has straps to hold the tube to the mount, plus allows for rotation of the tube. The stand is marked ‘C2058’ and is heavy cast iron. There is a 6x finder scope. This telescope is completely American made with American-made optics. The Edscorp telescope brand produced some of the most sought-after amateur astronomy telescopes of the 1960s.
