A certificate of authenticity comes with this beautiful bed stating, ‘The Cochran bed is an authentic reproduction of a design found in Southern mansions during the Civil War era…’ with more information about the maker. The posts are Federal style ribbed with tall finials. Below on the base of the post is intricate carving of ostrich feathers on all four posts that end in square feet.
