Item Details

A Victorian rosewood parlor sofa and chair. This lovely grouping includes a scallop backed sofa, in rose upholstery, with an oval backed chair. The couch frame is made of rosewood and features an arched back with a carved rose pediment and upholstered arms and sides. The sofa bottom is finished with a scrolled and carved skirt on cabriole legs. The chair has a carved wood oval shaped back, with seat and back upholstered in a dark rose fabric. The chair rests on carved cabriole legs with carved side braces at seat.

Condition

- Wear to fabric and wood finish from age and use. There are some patched repairs to couch frame.
