Vintage True Temper Steel Fishing Rod

A vintage True Temper Champion fishing rod. The rod is manufactured by the American Fork and Hoe Company of Geneva, Ohio with origins back to 1902. They began making fishing rods in 1925. The model and patent number of this rod place manufacture around 1937. Information on the rod: True Temper Champion No. 80990. On the handle: Speedlock, Pat. No. 1534674. The rod comes in the original yellow canvas case.

Condition

The metal shows corrosion and wear consistent with age and use.
