An original ‘Old Salt’ collectible known as a Toby mug, made by Royal Doulton. This is one of many collectible Toby mugs that were made. These mugs were introduced in 1934 and most have a mark on the bottom which says ‘Royal Doulton England’ as this mug does. This Toby mug features a man with thick bushy eyebrows and unique facial expressions. A ceramic mermaid can be seen on the side of the piece and acts as the handle.
