Circa 1896-1907 American 45 Star Flag Baton

Item Details

A circa 1896-1907 American 45 star flag baton. The 45th star was added when Utah became a state on January 4th and did not add an additional until Oklahoma was added. The baton is comprised of a long wood pole wrapped with red, white and blue striped paper and has a red ball finial. Nailed to the baton is the flag.

- stains to the flag and paper. Tearing to paper along the base of the pole. Snags to the flag.
