Item Details

An antique Lake No. 2 shelf clock manufactured by the Wm. L. Gilbert Clock Co.. Winsted, Connecticut. It was one of the six ‘Lake’ series clocks made in the late 1800s by this popular and well established company. The Eastlake case of walnut has been refinished and repaired, with possibly some replacement The glass front is decorated with an etched design of wading storks and the pendulum is ornately decorated. The face of the clock features Roman numerals. The clock works. The original label is on the back.
