Hammered Copper Mural

Item Details

A primitive style mural depicting island life is hammered from a single sheet of copper. It depicts two couples at their daily routines, harvesting food and grooming hair in the shade of the trees surrounding their huts. The piece is signed lower left – Santu.

Condition

There is a splattering of black dots to the lower right of the mural, which may have been original to the piece.
