Vera Kirk - Signed and Numbered Amish Offset Lithograph

Item Details

An offset lithograph print of an original Amish Batik by Vera Kirk, produced by a method of wax resisting watercolor dyes. This print, titled A Little Shy, depicts two pre-teen children carrying lunch pails and schoolbooks. Kirk never put faces on her characters, as is in keeping with Amish beliefs. This print is signed lower right by VKirk and numbered 112/550. It is double matted in a blue complementing the colors in the print with a simple frame.

Condition

There is some dust behind the glass and some small spots of discoloration at random places to the paper.
