Vintage Reticulated Kitchen Clock

Item Details

A vintage, reticulated electric kitchen wall clock. This gem is made of reticulated tin with a herringbone pattern in a gold tone. It is shaped in a square but the clock sits on the diagonal. The clock face sits on a plate of gold-tone and white painted finish in the center of the square, and the clock face is black with silver tone. There is an ‘atomic’ star pattern in the center. The chapter ring is in a raised, silver tone font typical of the 1950s. Made by Bilt Rite of Chicago, and marked to the face, ‘Self Starting’.

Condition

- to fair. Some wear is consistent with age and use. Power cord and plug in good condition; powers on and sets time.
