Sentinel and Emerson Tube Radios

A pair of vintage Sentinel and Emerson tube radios. The vintage Sentinel Tube Radio has a wonderful Mod/Art Deco look featuring a dark brown plastic case with grill front and three turning knobs to base. When tested, lighted dial illuminates, however, radio is not currently working. The Emerson personal portable tube radio comes in a nutmeg brown plastic case with dual hinged covers. Top cover opens to reveal interior speaker, radio dial and two knobs. Bottom cover contains a paper schematic marked ‘Emerson Radio-Model 640’, battery compartment and interior tube mechanics. Radio is untested due to lack of specific battery needed.
