A Pendleton Cheyenne Eagle wool saddle blanket from The Spirit Series designed by Ben Nighthorse Campbell. The blanket is comprised of a tan, burnt orange and jet black geometric design with tags sewn into the bottom corner. The design is inspired by a Cheyenne story of a warrior freeing an eagle from elk antlers. When freed, the eagle gave the warrior a gift of a spotted stallion, reminiscent of the eagle’s feathers.
