Vintage Drexel Mahogany Sideboard

A Drexel mahogany sideboard from the new Hampton Court collection, circa 1950s. This sideboard borrows from Duncan Phyffe style in the lines and hardware. A beautiful red mahogany finish with a top drawer that doubles as a serving tray with finger holds on either side, single post pulls. Beneath is a slotted drawer, four slots for utensils and space for napkins or other items, double post oval federal style pulls. Under that, two doors open to storage for plates and serving dishes with a shelf. Each door has a raised frame inset design feature.

Condition

Some of the hardware is loose and needs tightening. A few scratches on the surface. Needs airing out and cleaning.
