Item Details
A watercolor painting of a crane by California artist Toshio Aoki (1853-1912). Aoki was born in Yokohama Japan and lived in San Francisco before moving to Pasadena in 1901. He exhibited in 1893 at the World’s Exhibition in Chicago and died in San Diego in 1912. The painting depicts a crane above water. It is signed to the lower left and presented behind glass in a painted frame; ready to hang.
