Antique Angle Mfg Co. Double Angle Lamp with Ornate Brass Base

From the Angle Manufacturing Company, an antique double angle style lamp that has been converted to electric, with a beautiful brass oil well to center that is embossed in an ornate vine and leaf pattern. Shades to each side are clear glass. The angle lamp was invented by Thomas Mara Fell and patented in 1888. By changing the placement of the burner and setting it on an angle, Fell created a lamp with less under-shadow, that cast more light on the area below. Wall mounted lamps typically came with single burners, and hanging fixtures came with two to four burners.
Condition
Tested as working. Some minor dents and wear. Glass shades are not identical, and are likely replacements.
