Three Louis Spiegel Lithograph Prints
Item Details
A collection of three lithograph prints by well-listed Ohio artist Louis Spiegel (1901-1975). Spiegel is most recognized for his clown portraiture, but also dabbled with landscapes and landmarks. The three prints include a monochromatic print of the October 6th, 1871 Tyler Davidson Fountain in Cincinnati; a monochromatic print of a woman blessing a table with bread, wine and a candelabra; and a monochromatic print of a rabbi. All are signed to plate, but the Tyler Davidson Fountain print is also signed in pencil by Spiegel. All three are unframed, awaiting your choice in presentation.
Condition
- folding creases, corner bends and some yellowing. The Fountain print has a water mark over the signature, which has caused it to bleed, and has a few tears.
