Kling Mahogany Vanity Desk

Item Details

A finely crafted mahogany vanity desk, by Kling, having an attached mirror in a frame with a double-scrolled pediment and turned flame finial. The block-front desk features a shell-carved center drawer, above a knee hole, flanked by three drawers on either side, all having ‘batwing’ pulls. The corners feature quarter fluted columns, over ogee bracket feet, all in an American colonial style. Circa 1950. See items 15CIN279-048 and 002, for related pieces.
