Large Union Pacific Railroad Wall Map of the United States

Item Details

A large railroad wall map of the United States was published by the Union Pacific Railroad Company. This map is circa 1940 and has insets of the Pacific Ocean Steamship Lines and the Atlantic Ocean and Steamship Lines, the Union Pacific rail lines, Native American Reservations, and major cities. These types of maps hung in the control room of stations as references for the controllers. It is in color with red indicating double and single track lines and green outlines of the states.

Condition

The map is in good condition for its age. It is still attached to the wall bars and has a few rips/tears. Some tears have been repaired with tape. It is somewhat discolored due to use and age.
