An original acrylic on canvas of an impressionistic style lakefront by artist Jose Francisco Lopez Salcedo (Peruvian, b. 1955). Lopez Salcedo, also known under his pen name as Lopesalcedo, received his formal fine art education at the Escuela de Bellas Artes, Lima, studying amongst well known artists such as Leonel Velarde and Felix Rebolledo and has exhibited internationally. The horizontal impressionistic style painting depicts a lakefront view lined with dense trees and flowers and a beautiful white house tucked away to the left. Signed by artist to the lower left corner. This is presented in a dark finish wood frame with carved foliate detail.
