"The Wall at Dix River" and "The Park" Paul Sawyier Framed Prints

A pair of vintage framed Paul Sawyier (1865-1917) offset lithograph prints titled The Wall at Dix River and The Park. Printed October 1973. Sawyier was a listed Kentucky artist known for impressionist-style paintings of landscapes from his home state. Both prints depict waterways through tree-lined areas; painted in light blue hues and feature the artist’s in plate signature in the lower left corners. They are both one of 2500 prints reproduced from the original water color paintings, however the numbering is obscured by the mat. The piece is set under glass and single matted in dark wood frame. Authentication by Fine Prints Marketing of Danville, Kentucky are affixed to the backs of the frames.
Condition
Light wear to frames, which are consistent with age. Both frames show signs of water staining to the backing paper, however there is no evidence of further damage.
