1930s 22 Karat Gold China Set - "Adam Antique" by Steubenville

An enormous offering of stunning Steubenville 22K gold china in the pattern entitled, ‘Adam Antique’, circa 1935. This set is absolutely remarkable. Heavy, embossed gold edges encircle a courting Victorian couple to the center surrounded by a field of elaborate filigree work. Full service for 12 includes: a lidded serving dish, 2 platters, 2 bowls, gravy boat with fixed saucer, salt & pepper, 12 teacups with saucers, sugar, creamer, 12 bread/dessert plates, 12 salad plates, 12 soup bowls, 12 dinner plates and 12 small bowls, Pieces are marked ‘Steubenville’ and ‘Warranted 22K gold’ to the underside.
Condition
Salt and pepper shaker should have bottom corks replaced. Minor wear to gold paint and stains from use.
