A pair of Native American crafted kachinas and a tapestry. One kachina is handmade from wood and depicts Tawa, the ‘sun spirit’, sporting a feathered mask and staff, and painted in red, turquoise and yellow. It also has a multicolor yarn sash, leather satchel, kilt & straps. The molded ceramic piece is an interpretation of a Telavoi kachina. It is hand painted in white, brown, orange, green and red with real feathers in the left hand. The small tapestry is handwoven from tan, black, turquoise & red yarn with traditional symbols.
