Norman Brumm Bird Sculpture
Item Details
A Norman Brumm Sculpture of flowers and a bluebird, created circa 1970’s. This sculpture is enamel on copper art. The flowers are protruding from a small log. The flowers are a light purple color and mixed in is a yellow butterfly (one wing is broken off). The bluebird has blue color to his black and a black background with white stripes on his wings and tail. Brumm (1938-2008) was born in Michigan and always had a love for art. He started on oil painting at a young age and created ink drawings and water colors. However, he enjoyed sculpting enamel onto copper the best because he could then depict nature and make it come alive.
