Vintage Vanity Set

A lovely vintage vanity set in original case will all components. The set is housed in a lovely deep rose and gold foil case which has a scalloped edge and is lined with cream and rose colored fabric. Items in the set include two small glass cream jars, one large glass powder jar, a comb, a hand mirror, a bristle brush, manicure items, and a glass tray. Each jar, as well as the mirror and brush, feature delicate rose and cream colored Rococo inspired decoration. The handle of a manicure piece is marked ‘Concord Solingen Germany,’ indicating that the main components of this set were manufactured in Solingen, Germany; known as ‘The City of Blades’ for its history as a major producer of metalwares. The set most likely dates from the 1920s or 30s.
