A pencil signed and numbered photo off-set lithograph from a painting by listed Cincinnati artist Frank McElwain (b. 1942), with additional numbered pencil drawering. This piece is titled Tall Stacks 1992 ~ Port of Cincinnati and depicts seventeen riverboats in the Ohio River, along the banks of Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky with the downtown Cincinnati skyscrapers off to the left and the John A. Roebling Suspension Bridge linking the two states in the forefront. The piece lists the names of the riverboats depicted to the bottom of the piece, with a title to the center. The piece is pencil signed ‘F. McElwain’ and numbered ‘17/575’ to the lower right-hand side. There is an original pencil drawing titled Flagship Delta Queen and numbered ‘17/75’ to the bottom left-hand corner. Presented under glass with ivory mat in gold accented wood frame with pressed vine pattern to the border. Ready to hang. McElwain is an artist living in Cincinnati with a style that is intended to provide an artistic view of the city; his main subject is what can be found in his native city. His works can be found in private and corporate collections including Cincinnati Financial, the Queen City Club, Procter & Gamble, and Fifth Third Bank.
