Thomasville French Provincial Style Dining Table and Chairs
Item Details
A Thomasville French Provincial style dining table and chairs. The chairs are two different styles, but have similar fabrics and shapes. Both styles have a floral motif to the top rail with a similar white damask patterned upholstery. The wood tone is oak. Six of the dining chairs are original to the 1968 Thomasville table. Two out of that six are armchairs. The other four chairs seem to be made by Thomasville, as well, but have a more contemporary size. The larger chairs also have acanthus leaf embellishments on the splayed back feet. The table is generally in an oval shape with scalloped edging at the ends. The top is accented by a parquetry pattern, and the table comes with the original pads and leaves.
