An Arnold Alaniz (American, 1948(?) – ), winter forest sunset lithograph. It is a hazy quiet evening vista. The landscape is hazy with rolling hills and a pine forest in the distance. It is matted under glass in a distressed wood frame. It is signed in pencil to the lower right of the image. Alaniz, a native Texan, considers his lithographs to be ‘places where you find refuge’ and are noted for their dreamlike, idealized quality. His process often uses fifteen to twenty colors for original works. The print is tagged to the reverse, ‘4673.’
Condition
There is some wear to the frame.
