Mount Vernon Commerative Bowl from Andrea by Sadek

Item Details

A ten inch porcelain commemorative bowl from Mount Vernon, the home of George Washington. This bowl has a white porcelain background, navy blue scallop with gold gilt on the rim, gold starbursts and other intricate designs. Inside the bowl is a transferware portrait of General Washington surrounded by the seals of the 13 states and the US Coat of Arms. Two transfers of the US Coat of Arms are on the outside of the bowl. On the back is an image of the historic home in gold. It also reads ‘Mount Vernon, The Home of George Washington, 1994’ and has the seal for ‘Andrea by Sadek, Made in Japan’.

Condition

Very slight dirt on the bottom.
