Ornate Chinese Mandarin Jacket
Item Details
An ornate black Chinese Mandarin jacket with three-quarter length sleeves. The sleeves and lower edge of the piece feature silver and red color threads mimicking waves. The back of the jacket has a large medallion composed of floral motif threads, with a central caricature of a lady and rabbits in the center. There are no tags as to fabric content or origin. From the back of the neck to the lower edge of the hem, the length is approximately forty inches. Across the shoulders it is approximately seventeen inches.
Condition
Some small holes to the jacket. Some wear and soiling around the neck area.
