A collection of circa 1930s-1940s black and white photographic prints by Cincinnati photographer William E. White. White’s work is marked by The Queen City Pictorialists and the Cincinnati Camera Club. Included are ten unframed and dry mounted photographs of varying subject matters, including wood carved German gnomes, figural and of The Cincinnati Camera Club. One of the photographs is thought to be a self portrait of William E. White, written to back, and some are titled, including They Ain’t Biting Today, Street Light and Dark Room I. The floral still life photograph is by Betty Moesta titled Still Life Madame.
Condition
- good to fair. Yellowing to mat and creased corners to photographs.
