Item Details
A collection of approximately 500 wheat pennies. Minted 1909-1958, the wheat penny was designed by sculptor and engraver Victor David Brenner (Litvak-American, 1871-1924). The obverse of the penny depicts a bust of President Abraham Lincoln in profile; the reverse depicts two ears of wheat flanking ‘E Pluribus Unum – One Cent – United States of America’. The pennies are circulated and cursory examination reveals the majority of the coins to be dated late 1940s and 1950s.

The pennies are in circulated condition.
