A Franklin Mint Bat Masterson non-firing replica historical .45 caliber revolver. Offered here is an authorized reproduction of the .45-caliber single-action army revolver ordered by Bat Masterson from Colt Firearms in a letter dated July 24, 1885. Also included is a Certificate of Authenticity bearing the signature of Mr. James H. Earle, the owner of Masterson’s Colt .45, and specially written commentary recounting the most fascinating of Masterson’s adventures as a lawman, gun-fighter and gambler of the Old West. This reproduction revolver features a black handle with eagle and flag and rearing horse. Item comes with a wood display panel and attached engraved metal plate with the name of the item, original box, Certificate of Authenticity and papers from the Franklin Mint.
