A 1930’s Mickey Mouse 1 Cent Cone Dollar collection were dispensed between 1933 and 1936 as a new way to market and promote the Disney brand. These notes were issued as IOU’s that could be exchanged for an ice cream cone. These were originally issued at the theater Mickey Mouse Club meetings on Saturday afternoons as part of a promotion to give away one million ice cream cones. The central Mickey Mouse throwing bills in the air and Walt Disney copyright over the ‘K-K Inc. By Permission of Walt Disney Enterprises LTD.’ indicates that these are original bills.
Condition
Three of the bills are nice and crisp, one has water damage to one corner, the other has been folded.
