Pair of reproduction maps

A pair of reproduction maps that harken back to a time of geographic obscurity, and incomplete exploration of the world’s corners. The first map is entitled ‘The Dutch Dream of American Empire The New Netherlands and New England-1635, Engraved in Amsterdam By Willem Janszoon Blaeu.’ The Second map is called ‘A New And Correct Map of the United States of North America, 1784, By Abel Buell.’ Both maps are framed in wooden frames with gold borders, and a single white textured mat to edge.
