Hopi Long Hair Kachina Doll
Item Details
A vintage Hopi Long Hair Kachina doll, made circa 1960s. The figure is made of cottonwood and has been brightly painted. He holds a large rattle and a piece of plastic plant, wears a horsehair beard and is adorned with feathers, leather, and yarn. Kachinas were used in religious rituals to represent ancestral spirits.
Condition
- Some wear to feathers due to age.
