Vintage Bastian Blessings Ice Cream and Soda Fountain
Item Details
A vintage Bastian Blessings combination ice cream station and soda fountain. This unit features a metal counter surface with three ice cream basins, the largest of which retains its cooler, and a raised section for soda taps and ice cream toppings. The raised section is topped by two double sided draft arms which have metal stems and black handles and nozzles. One of the four nozzles is missing. Below the soda taps are six clay-lined basins, three at front and three facing the rear, which have metal lids to cover toppings and/or dispense syrups. The front door on the body of the unit has a metal lever handle but does not open. The rear door of the unit, which also has a lever handle, is functional. The back of the unit is marked by a plaque which reads ‘Bastian Blessings Model Number Spec-Duplex, Serial Number 47-A-643.’ Some cords remain intact at the lower side of the unit. This item has some surface rust and would require restoration to function.
