Vintage Iron Traffic Light

Item Details

A vintage black cast iron four-way traffic light with tin hoods. The top of the light is labeled ‘N’, ‘S’, ‘E’ and ‘W’ at each corner, respectively. Each signal light and reflector is accessed by a hinged iron door, to which each tin hood is attached. The light is hung from a cast iron piece which is screwed into the top of the unit.

Condition

Some of the colored covers for each light are damaged or missing and one of the tin hoods is detached but included. All hoods on west side are bent. West side red lens is broken. North side red hood is cracked off on the front edge. Top corner of iron at West and South corner has been broken off.
