Vintage Improved Eldredge Rotary Sewing Machine
Item Details
A vintage improved Eldredge Rotary Sewing Machine from the 1930s. The machine is primarily black with a few gold tone Art Deco decals and details. Next to the needle plate are ratios of how much cotton to the number of needles that need to be used; just below, the text reads ‘Registered in the U.S. patent office. Patents number 1.711.792 and 2.001.966 Made in U.S.A.’ This machine is in great cosmetic condition but untested. The Eldredge Sewing Machine company began manufacturing machines in 1869 and, in 1890, consolidated with the June Manufacturing Company to create The National Sewing Machine Company. Untested.
