Vintage McCoy Pottery Cookie Jar
Item Details
A vintage McCoy Pottery cookie jar, the Kookie Kettle Tea Pot Cookie Jar is a cookie jar made to look like a large tea kettle. This cookie jar was produced from 1960 to 1977. The glaze is McCoy’s black matte. The words, ‘Kookie Kettle’ were at one time written in gold decoration across one side of the jar, but the words have faded and are no longer visible. The handle is coiled brass wire but it shows signs of rust. The lid is missing. There are no visible cracks or chips. The McCoy mark appears on the base of the pot, McCoy USA.’
Condition
Decoration has faded from front of jar and is no longer legible. There is handle on the brass coiled wire handle. The lid is missing. Wear is consistent with age and use.
