Original Oak Plunge Butter Churn
Item Details
An original handmade wooden plunger butter churn. This cylindrical churn, also know as a Scottish churn was made of oak panels banded together with three narrow brass belts. The solid hardwood lid has a center cutout for the oak plunger. The plunger shows wear on the ends where a wood dasher disc would typically be attached.
Condition
Plunger is missing dasher.
