A vintage Tom’s Toasted Peanuts Glass Jar. This large jar features a clear glass canister body with bold black text on two sides “Eat Tom’s Toasted Peanuts 5c”. There is no lid. Tom’s Roasted Peanuts Company was formed in 1925 by Tom Huston who began by selling peanuts for a nickel a bag in Columbus, Georgia. Within two years the product was being sold across the country.
