Antique Tall Case Clock from Scotland, Circa 1762

Antique tall case clock, circa 1762, has a mahogany case, metal face with a medallion inscribed with ‘Geo. Jardin Glasgow’, the Scottish maker. Pendulum, weights, clock key are present. The second hand is in an envelope attached to the case door. No key is present for the door. The bonnet has a wavy glass front which opens to reveal an etched metal face with applied brass ornamentation. The crown is detailed with wooden fretwork, brass eagle and finials. The clock is attached to the wall and is presently not working. The date of clock is behind the chapter ring. Professional clock movers are recommended.
