An Indonesian batik wall hanging, circa 1800s. This large reversible Indonesian silk batik is in vibrant colors of deep blues, reds, ivory and was made using the ancient wax process of dyeing. Both ends have 4’ long hand-tied fringe. According to the seller this had once hung in a temple and was purchased in 1980 in Hong Kong.
Condition
very good antique condition. Has been hanging in a location with no sun.
