c. 1925 Todd Protectograph Check Writer

Item Details

A circa 1925 Todd Protectograph Model 30 check writing machine with olive drab casing and wood handle to stamp lever. This was the first ribbon, hand-operated check writing machine available to the public. A sticker to the underside indicates that the machine was serviced by C. L. C. Miller of Cincinnati, circa 1960.

Condition

- marks and scratches consistent with age and use, two cover screws missing. In working condition at the time of cataloging.
