An antique 1900s Ansonia Royal Bonn ‘La Manche’ porcelain mantel clock with an ornately beautiful porcelain case in the Rococo style, produced by Franz Anton Mehlem’s studio in the early 1900s. The case features shades of green, with a medallion shell crest to the top and gilt accents embellishing the curved lines of the case. Gorgeous roses in pink and yellow, along with other wildflowers and green foliage designs decorate the porcelain. The dark brass bezel has a classic design, with the white porcelain clock face accented by black Arabic numerals and hands. The clock is marked with the Ansonia name and logo to the clock face, as well as to the verso with the Royal Bonn mark. Franz Anton Mehlem’s impressed mark is present to the base.
