Vintage Seiberling Tires Sign

A vintage Seiberling Tires sign. The Seiberling Rubber Company was founded in the early 20th century by Frank Seiberling whom later, with his brother Charles Goodyear, helped found Goodyear Tire. The descriptor’vulcanizing’ in the bottom right corner of the sign refers to the vulcanization of tires patented by Charles Goodyear which fortifies the durability of rubber tires. On the back of the sign, there are wooden supports at the top and bottom.

Condition

The sign has rust on front and back. The wood supports have deterioration. The edges of the sign have rust.
