A Clay McGaughy limited edition print is signed in plate and in pencil to the lower right with the pencil number of 207 of 500 to the lower left. This print is titled Checkin’ In and features a pair of game bird flying over a lake or pond, as other birds look on while perched on a barren tree. The print is double matted under glass and framed in a medium toned oak frame. It has a Certificate of Authenticity with the title, artist, and print number attached to the reverse. Clay McGaughy (1931- ) works mainly in watercolors and is a listed artist with multiple awards for his rendition of naturalist scenes of wildlife, game, and animals.
