A collection of Keystone Canonsburg Pottery Company China. This china pattern features double rings of 22K gold trim and a bouquet of spring flowers in shades of rose, blue, lavender, orange and yellow. The original company was named Canonsburg China Company and founded in 1900 by John George near Pittsburg, Pennsylvania. By 1909 company’s name was changed to Canonsburg Pottery Company. The Cannonsburg Pottery Company was known for its fine dinnerware and use of decal decor. The company closed in 1978. The backs of the china are marked in green with ‘Keystone, (trademark with MADE IN USA), CANONSBURG POTTERY CO.’ and in black ‘WARRANTED 22K GOLD.’ This collection includes an oval platter, dinner plate, salad plate, bread plate, and covered vegetable server.
