An original portrait painting of a race horse, executed in oils on stretched canvas, by Ron Lightner. Smarty Jones, signed and dated 2007 to the lower right hand corner, portrays the winner of the 2004 Kentucky Derby and Preakness Stakes. This well-executed portrait is housed in a decorative gold tone composite frame, with red and white mat to the interior.
Condition
- the painting is in good condition. Notable surface damage to the finish of frame throughout.
